Swaccho Khan

const role = AI & ML programmer

I'm a computer science undergraduate teaching myself machine learning from the maths up, and running Websthan — the web design and digital marketing agency I co-founded, where I lead the tech team. Everything I make starts the same way: take it apart, understand it, build it better.

What I actually do

Two things have my attention.

Everything else on this site is context. These are the two places my hours genuinely go — one I'm learning, one I'm running.

Actively learning & building
Primary focus

AI & Machine Learning

The centre of everything I'm doing right now. I'm working through machine learning from first principles — linear algebra and statistics underneath, Python and the modern ML stack on top — so that I understand models rather than just call them.

  • Python as a first-class ML language: data handling, vectorised maths, experiment loops
  • Neural network fundamentals — how gradients, layers and loss functions actually behave
  • Building with LLM APIs and agent tooling, not just prompting them
  • Turning notebooks into real, deployed, useful software
Co-founder & tech lead
What I run

Websthan

The web design and digital marketing agency I co-founded in Dhaka. I lead the tech team, work on business strategy with my co-founder, and stay close to our clients — so the work has to be right technically and commercially.

  • Lead the tech team — delegation, code standards, delivery
  • Shape business strategy alongside my co-founder
  • Work with clients from first brief to long after launch
  • Still build: front-end engineering, deployment, SEO and performance

Web Development

Where my programming actually began. I've been building websites since long before they paid — blogs, brand sites, experiments and this one.

Interest

Cybersecurity

A serious side interest. I want the things I build to be defensible, so I read about attack surfaces, web vulnerabilities and hardening — then apply it.

Toolkit

What I can do today — and what I'm still building

Labelled honestly. Core is what I reach for without thinking, building is where I'm actively putting in hours right now.

AI / Machine Learning

in progress — this is where my hours go
  • Python for ML building
  • Neural network fundamentals building
  • Data wrangling & analysis building
  • LLM APIs & agent tooling building
  • Maths for ML (linear algebra, stats) building

Programming

the tools I reach for first
  • Python core
  • C core
  • JavaScript core
  • Git & GitHub core
  • Algorithms & problem solving core

Web

how Websthan gets built
  • HTML5 & semantic markup core
  • CSS3, layout & motion core
  • Node.js & Express building
  • Three.js / WebGL building
  • SEO & performance core

Leading & communicating

what running an agency actually takes
  • Team & delivery management core

My journey

A life in nine chapters

A first computer. Video editing, then YouTube. The school years. A move abroad and back. A small e-commerce. A few articles. Websthan. And now, machine learning.

Each one led to the next — so I built it as a book you can actually turn, in 3D, page by page.

Off the clock

The other half of me

Most of what I'm good at professionally started as something I did for fun. These are the ones that stuck.

Coding

Hobby and profession at once. Most of my side projects start at 1am with no plan whatsoever.

Reading

The oldest habit I have. Fiction, non-fiction, whatever rearranges how I see a thing.

Writing

Still new at it — a few articles on Medium so far. It's how I find out whether I actually understand something.

Chess

Slow, quiet, and the only game where I can feel myself getting better at thinking.

Photography

A leftover from the editing years — I still frame things before I look at them.

Say hello

Got something worth building?

I'm open to internships, freelance work and collaborations — especially anything with AI, machine learning or the web in it.
